COMMITTED TO REMEMBER

״You deeply moved me. We are lucky to have had you as our wonderful guide on this family journey, which has now come to an end. You illuminated for us human angles and corners of the people and the period beyond the vast knowledge you shared with us. Thank you for agreeing to accompany us on this journey. We all experienced a powerful, turbulent, and emotional journey in so many ways, and our family bond has only grown stronger from the realization that we all share the same DNA of our parents and grandparents, who survived and lived full lives, teaching us that from every dark place, a ray of hope will emerge."

Dear Lorenn, Thank you for a meaningful, emotional, and enriching journey. I enjoyed listening to you from the very first moment. You captured me with your mesmerizing voice. Your calmness helped me greatly in understanding the difficult topics. You were attentive, interesting, and captivating. It truly made the journey for me. The students enjoyed your guidance so much, and of course, I did as well. I am very grateful for your patience, your words, and for teaching me, beyond the content and the journey, how important it is to be human and to see the (Jews) who once lives here (in Poland) as first - living human beings. Keep leading students on such meaningful journeys.

Dear Lorennn, I was deeply moved and looked forward to each meeting with you. The way you guide is emotional, overflowing with knowledge, excellence, and sublime elevation. I lose track of time and fully immerse myself in the spirit of the Holocaust era. Through your eyes and your spirituality, you conveyed to us the essence of the period and the hardships that the Jews endured during the Holocaust. You awakened all the memories of my parents and grandparents in me. Thank you so much, I will never forget you."

Dear Lorenn, as a third-generation Holocaust survivor in a family where the Holocaust was never discussed, this was truly the first time I received full, meaningful information. With the skill of an artist, you conveyed layer after layer of this complex and sensitive topic. Dry historical facts became deeply interesting pieces of information thanks to you. Thank you for every meeting, for the incredible amount of knowledge, and for the way you present it. Following the group sessions, I understood the past, but more importantly, I understood the future and the crucial role of our generation... the bridge generation between the survivors and a generation that has neither known nor seen, but will hear and see from us. A huge thank you for this great privilege. With great appreciation."

Thank you, Lorenn. When Heidegger was asked about his response to the Holocaust, he said there is too much to remain silent about... In an entirely different sense, I feel the same about this wonderful course. I learned so much.
Thank you very much."

It was my pleasure to be an accompanying teacher in Group 3, under your dedicated guidance. Your voice sounds like singing even when you speak. You shared with us the history of our people. We experienced so many enriching, educational moments with you. You didn’t give up on any person - woman, boy, or girl. You made sure we knew them, their world, and through them, we learned the horrific stories of the Holocaust. You are a thoughtful, smiling, inclusive, professional guide, full of goodness and knowledge! I appreciate and admire you. I couldn’t have chosen a better guide than you. Thank you for such a meaningful week."

"The second lecture in our series Women in the Holocaust: Being a Jewish Female Adolescent During the Holocaust. A fascinating and moving lecture. Thank you Lorenn, for the captivation and moving lecture, and also for the poignant finale. And how incredible that Michael Goldman, Hausner's personal assistant in the Eichmann trial, honored you with his presence!"

Dear Mrs. Tzafi Rosen (Yad VaShem Poland Delegations Department),
I am reaching out with great pleasure to express my deep appreciation and gratitude for Lauren Parr. My daughter Alma participated in last week's trip to Poland with the Yad IV high school in Tel Aviv, under Lauren's guidance. I was deeply moved to hear about the impressions and experiences my daughter shared upon returning from the trip. Lauren’s guidance was of the highest level—powerful, engaging, educational, experiential, and captivating. She skillfully combined warmth and humanity with deep knowledge, insightful information, and human stories, all while leading a group of 40 teenagers in challenging weather conditions. Lauren even moved the children to tears with a heartfelt song. We have no doubt that Alma had the privilege of being guided by one of the highest caliber educators, who made the trip a particularly powerful and significant experience. For this, we extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation."
